SCHOOL-BASED WORKSHOPS & DISCUSSIONS
FOR ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY LANGUAGE ARTS CLASSES
Leah is a former English and writing teacher on both the secondary and undergraduate levels, and enjoys chatting about creative writing and publishing with language arts students. Discussion options are at sole discretion of the class teacher and range from casual conversations about book publishing and writing “in real life” to more formal workshops centered around story structure, “the perfect paragraph,” creating a compelling character, and the “what if?” method of building tension.
She can travel to appear at your school in person if geography (Leah lives in South Central Pennsylvania) and her schedule allow, or talk with your class via FaceTime or Skype. She holds clearances for Pennsylvania and Catholic diocesan school employees/volunteers. To schedule an author visit, just contact Leah through her website or email her directly at onevignette(at)gmail(dot)com.
