What We Need is a Snowblower Named Desire
Some of you are where we are right now: blanketed under a foot and a half of snow, with more falling from the sky as you read this. It’s beautiful, really. The birds outside my window look adorable hopping around under the bird feeder with snowflakes coating their bellies. The girls played outside most of the morning, returning inside with happy smiles and cheeks flushed red and cold. We’ve made snow ice cream, and hot chocolate from scratch. We had junk food for lunch, and they’re all curled under blankets watching Moana for the second time in 24 hours. It is, as usual, a lovely snow day for me and kiddos.
Oh, David, you say? What about David?
Oh, him. Well, David doesn’t like it so much.
I can’t imagine why.
